About world resets
The Overworld, Nether and End are never reset. When an update changes world generation, or the map fills up, the border expands instead.
The resource world is the exception: it may be wiped occasionally, and notice is always given on Discord first. Claims are disabled there, so anything you leave behind counts as abandoned. Get there with /wild.
